ABOUT ME:
I studied civil engineering in college, where I learned that an intent to craft artifacts responsibly can create a lasting impact on communities. Years later, interdisciplinary study and the same careful intent still motivate how I create – and people remain at the heart of all my work.
When I'm not staring at screens, I create pottery, clothing, and paintings, I write letters to myself and my loved ones, I play grass, sand, and indoor volleyball, I sing badly to an audience of 1 in the car, I read about theories of well being, I write about concepts I do not yet understand, I organize events to gather friends and strangers, I make coffee, tea, and comfort food, I work to be a better friend, I try to say thank you more than I say sorry, I embrace nostalgia, and I enjoy the moment.
